Chocolate covered strawberries are a wonderful upscale gift, and they can help you raise funds for your organization. Do you think your organization’s logo on chocolate covered strawberries would help raise funds?
Here are the high level details:
15% donation to your organization, for every sale you refer, that contains your organizations logo on the chocolate covered strawberries.
or
10% donation for purchases you refer for products other than above.
or
5% donation when someone purchases a product with your logo that you didn’t refer. (if you choose to make the product available to everyone).
Start up costs(optional):
Your organization pays for the initial print run of the custom images needed; the cost will vary depending on how many colors you use, we recommend a single color logo. If all of the images from the initial print run are used during the first year and a half: we (CCBerries) will pay for a reprint.
If your organization chooses not to have custom images printed you can still use CCBerries for fundraising , and there are no start up costs.
How it works:
Our online store is set up to automatically pay a portion of sales as commissions to people that refer customers to us. Using the ShareASale affiliate network a special cookie is set, and when that customer, within 90 days, purchases any of our products, the base commission is automatically paid. You’ll also receive an email (if you want) when any of your logoed products ships. Because of our sites privacy policy no customer data is shared with you or ShareASale, only that a logoed product has shipped or that a referred sale has occurred. You’ll be able to see the sale in your ShareASale account soon after the sale, once the commissions get above $50 they send you a check.
Starting up:
If you choose to make strawberries with your organizations logo you’ll need to order the artwork printing (it takes about 2 weeks to print and another week to prep and distribute the images for use) . You’ll also need to sign up as an affiliate with the ShareASale network (it’s free, and they’ll do the first level check to make sure you are authorized to work on behalf of your organization). We handle the artwork prep, special product configuration and will provide you with images for your emails, web site and other printing needs.
Way to market:
Each organization has different resources available that can be used in fundraising, it could be your website, mailings, newsletters, emails, or something as simple as handing out special business cards. We are pretty flexible with what is allowed but there are some limitations, you can’t pretend to be us and the methods/ads should be truthful. (No “You will be struck you down if you don’t buy these..”). We can provide the graphics, electronic banners or images needed.
Limitations:
You must be a valid representative of the organization you are acting on behalf of. Your organization must be US based. Your organization and website must not advocate breaking the laws of the United States, or contain any material that might be considered “hate speech”, or advocate violence in any way. The suitability of your organization for this program is at our sole discretion.
Other than the commissioned sales detailed above there is another way to earn: Bringing the product into a central location. This method is much more suited to religious and school groups: if you place mass orders there is a large discount included in the purchase price and the shipping is less than if the gifts were shipped separately. The margin that you charge the customer is entirely up to you, but the cost per dozen strawberries is significantly less when you purchase multiple dozen. This is a very perishable product so that must always be a factor in these types of sales. There is no wiggle room, delayed customer pickups will ruin the product and the customers need to know this when ordering. Once your program is up and running we can discuss the details of this type of order.
